ХХХ National Conference of Obstetrics, June 2011, Kiten

The XXX National Conference of Obstetrics took place in Kiten from 23 to 25 June 2011. The multidisciplinary team of the Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery Unit in the University Hospital “St. George” – Plovdiv was represented by Ass. Prof. Dr. Youri Anastassov, Dr. Parvan Voynov and Lead nurse Neli Slaninkova.

On the Conference Dr. Voynov presented the report “Management of New Born Children with Facial Anomalies. Database of Facial Anomalies. European First Care Standards for Children with Facial Anomalies”.

The project “Database of Facial Anomalies”, sponsored by National Science Found, was also presented to the forum. It has been developing by the Medical University – Plovdiv in cooperation with Association ALA.

Co-author of the report is Ass. Prof. Dr. Malinova (antenatal diagnostics) – member of the OB Clinics in the University Hospital “St. George” – Plovdiv. She is a consultant of the cleft multidisciplinary team in the development of the European First Care Standards for Children with Facial Anomalies.
